Encountering Your Destiny

Oct 25, 2026  •  Aaron

This sermon centers on the danger of possessing knowledge about God without ever truly encountering Him, and how that gap can cause a believer to unknowingly work against their own God-given destiny. Drawing primarily from the story of Saul's conversion in Acts 9, the pastor illustrates how religious knowledge without personal encounter leaves a person spiritually blind, unable to recognize God's voice or movement. The sermon calls believers to move beyond borrowed anointing and secondhand spiritual experiences into their own consistent, personal encounters with God. The pastor emphasizes that destiny, identity, and purpose are not discovered through intellectual pursuit alone but are revealed in the presence of God, and that speaking death over one's life, one's body, or the church is equivalent to holding the coats of those who stone the very destiny God has ordained.
