The Greatest Love Stroy

Oct 4, 2026  •  Jack Moon

Drawing from the Old Testament account of Hosea and Gomer, this sermon explores the nature of God's unconditional, relentless love for humanity. Just as the prophet Hosea was commanded to marry and love an unfaithful prostitute, God demonstrates through this living parable that His love for us is not based on our performance, faithfulness, or worthiness. We are all, in our spiritual condition, like Gomer -- unfaithful, unclean, and prone to wandering. Yet God pursues us with tenderness, redeems us from the auction block of the enemy, and calls us not as slaves to a master but as a bride to a bridegroom. The sermon emphasizes that God's grace outbids our past, that nothing can separate us from His love, and that in every valley of trouble, He provides a door of hope. The call of the message is to return to our first love, to receive the tender pursuit of God, and to walk in the covenant relationship He has established with us through the blood of Christ.
